Helsinki.run answers one question: I'm in Helsinki. Where can I run, what's on, and who can I run with?
We are runners who love this city: its shorelines, its forests and its long white nights and dark, icy winters. We built Helsinki.run because that information was scattered across club Facebook pages, race websites, Strava segments and word of mouth. Now it is in one place.
What we do
- Routes. We curate running routes we have run ourselves, each with a map, practical notes and a GPX file.
- Events. We list races and running events in and around Helsinki, always linking to the official organiser.
- Community. We help you find clubs and group runs, many of them free and in English.
- Stores. We point you to the shops where you can buy shoes and gear.
- Conditions. We show current Helsinki weather and a simple running-conditions indicator.
Editorial standards
Accuracy. Event dates and details are checked against the organiser's official website, and each event page shows when we last checked. Things change, so always confirm with the organiser before you travel or pay.
Independence. We are not affiliated with the City of Helsinki or with any event organiser, club or store listed, unless we say so. We are not the organiser of any event on this site, and registration always happens on the organiser's own website.
Advertising. Helsinki.run is free to use and is funded by advertising and clearly labelled sponsored placements. Ads are always marked Advertisement, and paid placements are always marked Sponsored. Advertisers cannot buy editorial coverage, route recommendations or changes to our guides. Read our advertising policy.
Corrections. Spotted a mistake, a changed schedule or a closed shop? Tell us and we will fix it quickly.
